Our Milan Baucher, commonly known as a ‘hanging cheek’ snaffle, has the distinctive bars with small rings that extend up from the bit and attach to the cheekpiece. The Baucher design, originally conceived by François Baucher, is ideal for horses who are overly sensitive — when the rider makes contact, the upper bars tilt forward, lifting the mouthpiece so it suspends in the mouth and reduces pressure on the tongue. The Milan is a joint-free, loose ring, titanium bit with a beautiful contour to fit the natural shape of your horse’s mouth.
